The School cricket team participated in the “Delhi Capitals School Cup 2025”, a prestigious inter school tournament that provides a valuable platform for young athletes to compete, learn, and grow in a highly competitive environment. The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from 16 reputed schools across Delhi and was conducted at top-class cricketing venues, offering the players exposure to professional standards of the game.
The team played 3 matches during the course of the tournament, each presenting unique challenges and valuable learning opportunities. The opening match was played on 9 December 2025 against Air Force Bal Bharti School at the GMR Cricket Ground. This match helped the team acclimatise to the competitive environment and set the tone for the tournament. The second match took place on 16 December 2025 against Modern School, Barakhamba Road, at the DPS R.K. Puram cricket ground. Playing at a different venue tested the team’s adaptability and mental strength. The players responded positively, displaying determination, growing confidence, and improved tactical awareness. The third match was played on 17 December 2025 against Kulachi Hansraj Model School at the GMR Cricket Ground.
By this stage, the team demonstrated noticeable improvement in coordination, decision-making, and on-field communication. There was consistent effort from the entire squad, reflecting the learning gained from the earlier matches.
Overall, participation in the “Delhi Capitals School Cup” proved to be an enriching experience for the players. Beyond match results, the tournament helped students enhance their technical skills, tactical understanding, physical endurance, and sportsmanship.
