Diwali Assembly by Pre primary Orion

When we share our light with others, the world glows a little brighter — that is the true spirit of Diwali.

On 17 October 2025, The Indian School gleamed with lights, laughter, and festive joy as we celebrated Diwali — the festival of lights with immense enthusiasm. The celebration began with a special Diwali Assembly conducted by the cheerful students of Pre Primary Orion, who lit up the stage with their vibrant performances and pure excitement.

Through songs, dances, and short dialogues, the little ones beautifully conveyed heart warming messages of “Sharing is Caring,” “Say No to Crackers,” and “Help Others.” Their endearing presentation inspired everyone to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly and meaningful way, spreading light not only through lamps but also through kindness and love.

The celebration continued in the classrooms, where creativity bloomed like colourful rangolis. The children enthusiastically participated in Diya painting and decoration, turning simple earthen lamps into glowing works of art with bright colours and glitter. They also crafted Toran (door hangings) and lanterns using waste and recyclable materials, reinforcing the spirit of sustainability and innovation.

The classrooms glowed with festive charm as laughter, music, and creativity filled the air. Beyond the sparkle of diyas and lanterns, the celebration kindled in every heart the true essence of Diwali — compassion, sharing, and environmental responsibility.

The day concluded on a radiant note, leaving behind smiles, memories, and a gentle reminder that the brightest light is the one that shines from within.
