Independence Day Quiz in Pre school

Celebrating Freedom with facts,  flags and fun

A nation’s future is written in the small hands that salute her today
On August 12, the spirit of patriotism twinkled in every corner as our little Pre schoolers came together to celebrate the essence of freedom with curiosity, laughter, and pride in a vibrant Independence Day Quiz.

The morning was alive with the colours of the tricolour, fluttering flags in tiny hands, and echoes of “Jai Hind!” ringing through the corridors like music of the nation’s heartbeat. The celebration began with an adorable march past, where our little ones, dressed as the national symbols and defence forces, proudly carried the flag high. Their innocent faces glowed with pride, painting a picture of pure patriotism.

Then came the much-awaited highlight — the Independence Day Quiz, where five spirited teams stepped forward. These were the Peace Team, the Brave Team, the Freedom Team, the Happy India Team
and the Unity Team.

Round 1: 'India in My Heart'
From naming national symbols to recalling the colours of our beloved flag, our young patriots answered with cheer and confidence. Every right answer was met with applause, while every attempt was celebrated with encouragement.

Round 2: 'Picture Pehchano'
Flashcards of the lotus, Gandhi Bapu, the peacock, and the tricolour filled the room with eager pointing fingers and excited guesses. Each correct answer was not just knowledge, but a spark of pride shining in the little eyes.

Round 3: 'Paint the Pride'
Little hands turned into artists as the children coloured the national flag with bright precision. Each stroke of saffron, white, and green carried their love for the nation, creating a gallery of flags that fluttered with creativity and joy.

In the true spirit of independence, every team was a winner — because this event wasn’t about competition, but about celebrating unity, pride, and love for our country. The programme concluded with words of appreciation from Head Teacher, Ms Vandana Tiwari, who applauded the confidence, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit of the children.

The Independence Day Quiz was not just about questions and answers; it was a journey through India’s colours, stories, and dreams. It was a morning where even the tiniest voices spoke volumes, reminding us that when little hearts feel proud, the whole nation shines brighter.

“Tiny hands held flags, tiny voices sang with cheer,
Their love for tricolour loud and clear.
For when children dream with pride in their eyes,
The nation’s spirit forever soars and flies.”
