Pre schoolers Rainy Season Quiz
“The skies may have been overcast on 17th July 2025, but in our vibrant Pre school corridors, there was nothing but sunshine in every smile. As raindrops painted the windows and the monsoon breeze caressed them, our little learners gathered for a day that blended fun with discovery — the Rainy Season Quiz.
The celebration began with a splash of style and spirit as Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, joined the little ones in the delightful Rainy Day Fashion Show. Dressed in their monsoon best and brimming with excitement, our tiny stars — Aashvi Bhardwaj, Lavyansh Rai, Mannat Kaur, Samriddh Patel, Bhargavi Chabbra, Sajaad, Aaradhya, and Divleen Kaur Jog — stole the spotlight with their adorable props, wide smiles, and infectious confidence. The applause from the audience was as warm as a cup of cocoa on a rainy day!
As the last twirl faded and happy feet found their seats, it was time for the main event — the Rainy Season Quiz. In the spirit of friendly competition, five teams — named after beloved elements of the monsoon — came forward to test their curiosity and creativity:
Team Umbrella: Zorawar Joshi, Muskan Chandra, Zehra Jamshed, Ammar Shahab
Team Raincoat: Garvit Baghel, Kashhvi Chawla, Jeevika Yadav, Rudrakshi Saini
Team Rainbow: Taksh Arora, Kyra Garg, Eshanvi Bidhuri, Aarvi Nagpal
Team Thunder: Riyansh, Mirhan Hashim, Reyansh Arora, Tejas
Team Raindrops: Ditya Aggarwal, Bhuvika, Diksha Gupta, Shreya Rout
The quiz unfolded in three engaging rounds, each crafted to tickle their young minds and bring out their natural flair for learning:
Question-Answer Round: The children leaned forward in their seats with rapt attention and responded with cheerful confidence to questions about puddles, rainbows, paper boats, and thunderclaps. Right or wrong, every answer earned claps and smiles — because the heart of learning lies in the joy of trying.
Picture Round: The classroom lit up with excitement as flashcards of gumboots, raincoats, clouds, and umbrellas popped up. Little hands shot into the air in eager recognition, and the room echoed with joyful laughter and beaming faces.
Puzzle Round: This round brought teams together as tiny fingers and big ideas came together to complete rain-themed jigsaw puzzles. It was more than just solving pieces — it was a celebration of teamwork, patience, and shared delight.
Every team was declared a winner — not just for what they knew, but for the way they supported each other, played fair, and radiated enthusiasm. After all, the real prize was not a trophy, but the shared experience of joyful learning.
Bonus moments added a sparkle to the day, as the audience joined in with spontaneous answers. A special shoutout to Ayaan Saqib and Krisha Aggarwal, whose quick replies earned them glowing smileys and extra cheers!
Some moments, however, melted every heart in the room. When asked, “What do you love most about the rain?” little Mahira chirped, “Jumping in puddles with my boots on is the best thing ever!” while young Jaivardhan softly said, “I love the pitter-patter of the raindrops.” Pure magic in those tiny words.
The day concluded on a warm note from Head Teacher- Primary, Ms Vandana Tiwari, who commended the children for their imagination, courage, and spirit. With certificates in hand, stars on chests, and smiles on every face, she gently showered each child with appreciation — a drizzle of encouragement that will linger in their memories.
The Rainy Season Quiz wasn’t just an event.
It was a monsoon of memories, a thunder of applause, and a rainbow of possibilities.
A reminder that even the smallest drops can nourish the biggest dreams.
