Relationship Day celebration in Pre school and Pre primary
On Saturday, 16 May 2026, School observed "Relationship Day" in great joy, enthusiasm, and warmth for the dads, uncles, and granddads of Bal Vatika and Pre Primary students. The celebration was held in two sessions, with the first from 8 am to 9 am and the second from 10 am to 11 am.
The programme began with a lively and cheerful welcome by anchor, Ms Shikha Sharma, who warmly greeted all the guests. A fun opening jingle filled the hall with excitement and happiness, setting the perfect mood for the celebration.
Head Teacher, Ms Vandana Tiwari, then addressed the gathering and appreciated the invaluable role of the father and the family elders in nurturing and supporting the children. This was followed by a joyful Hindi rhyme and an energetic "Father Fun Challenge", which added laughter and excitement to the celebration. Fathers enthusiastically participated in activities such as clapping challenges, high fives, safely lifting their children, whistling, and even tapping their feet to the beats of Bhangra! The hall echoed with smiles, laughter, and togetherness.
One of the most engaging segments of the event was the "Listen Carefully Challenge", where a heartwarming and humorous story was told about little Bunny Ru and Papa. The audience listened attentively and enjoyed answering fun questions based on the story. The story beautifully portrayed the playful and loving bond shared between a father and child.
The celebration continued with a delightful "Mystery Drawing Activity", where the dads and the children worked drew and painted together, following the step-by-step drawing instructions. At the end of the activity, the surprise appearance of a robot brought excitement and joy among the participants. This activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and bonding between fathers and children.
Another special attraction of the day was the clay glass painting activity. The dads and the children painted earthen clay glasses, creatively expressing their imagination and artistic skills. These beautifully decorated glasses were later carried home as memorable keepsakes of the celebration.
During the activity, Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, warmly interacted with the participants appreciating their creativity and enthusiasm.
To make the occasion even more special, the children lovingly collected refreshments and served them to their dads. At the conclusion of the programme, every father received a sapling as a takeaway gift symbolising love, growth, and nurturing relationships. The families also captured beautiful memories together at the “Photo Booth”, making the celebration truly unforgettable. Relationship Day was indeed a heartwarming celebration of togetherness, appreciation, and family bonding.
