Special Assembly by PP Gemini on Caring for the Environment

“Preserving nature is not about saving the planet. It’s about saving the soul of humanity from its own extinction."

On 1st August'25, Pre Primary Gemini presented a special assembly on the theme “Caring for the Environment”. The programme began with a warm welcome to the audience, followed by an skit narrated by Meharjot, highlighting the importance of protecting nature and wildlife.

The skit unfolded in a forest setting, where Anshuman played the majestic tree, Mohd Zayan the playful rabbit, Atharv Sharma the gentle elephant, Trisha the lively monkey, Dharaa the chirpy bird, Aarya the graceful deer, Gursanj the cheerful frog, and Gurmehar the mighty lion. Trouble arose when three humans—Jaeeshna, Kiara, and Sharvil—entered the forest and began throwing garbage, disturbing its peace. But hope arrived in the form of the forest helpers—Ayansh, Atharv Verma, Vishesh, and Neyansh—who, with the support of the forest animals, taught the troublemakers how to care for the environment.

The skit effectively conveyed messages such as avoiding plastic, saving water and electricity, and keeping our surroundings clean.

As the skit’s final lines faded away, the stage came alive with colour and movement. The students swayed to the soulful tune “Na Kaato Mujhe Bada Dukhta Hai”, each gesture speaking louder than words. Their eyes shone, their hands painted stories in the air — and the audience was spellbound.

Every child had a role to play. 100% participation meant 100% joy, energy, and teamwork. Teachers smiled, little ones clapped, and the hall rang outnwith warm applause.

But this wasn’t just a performance — it was a gentle reminder wrapped in rhythm and rhyme: Nature needs us. The PP Gemini students not only entertained, but also planted seeds of awareness in every heart, proving that even the youngest voices can speak loudly for Mother Earth.
