Citizenship Programme - art workshop at MCD school
"In every shared craft and cheerful colour lies the magic of giving, learning, and growing together."
On 10 December 2025, four enthusiastic students of The Indian School class VIII—Aishani Giri, Yashika, Tanish Garg, and Shreya Kaushal— under the guidance of srt teacher, Ms Parul Singh, conducted a lively Art and Craft Workshop at MCD School, Sadiq Nagar from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The workshop was organised for students of classes III to V, with 50 children and two teachers participating. The teachers joined in the creative process, learning Christmas-themed craft from our students and appreciating their creativity, confidence, and clarity of instruction.
All the art material was thoughtfully arranged by our team. The young learners were guided to create a variety of festive crafts, including Christmas trees, Santa Claus, snowflakes, and snowmen, filling the classroom with colour and excitement.
The session was interactive, joyful, and highly engaging, spreading festive cheer and creativity. Most importantly, it provided a meaningful leadership and peer-teaching experience for our class VIII students while bringing smiles and Christmas spirit to the children of the MCD school.
