Report: “Empowering Young Minds to Shape a Self-Reliant Nation”
A talk on the theme “Empowering Young Minds to Shape a Self-Reliant Nation” was organised at our School on 22 August 2025 for the students of classes VIII to XII.
The session was led by Dr Dayanand, Programme Director at iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence), Ministry of Defence, GOI. He spoke about the investments made by the Government of India in defence start-ups, encouraging young innovators to contribute towards national security. Stressing upon the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, he motivated students to become creators of technology rather than just consumers. He also spoke about Artificial Intelligence, reminding everyone that while it is a powerful tool, it must be used wisely for the greater good.
Along with him, a drone start-up team gave a live demonstration, introducing students to the basics of aerodynamics and drone technology. Their engaging session showed how innovation and technology can come together to solve real-life challenges.
The talk left a lasting impact, inspiring students to think critically, explore new ideas, and contribute to building a self-reliant India.
