Intra school Skating Championship in Primary

The School skating rink came alive in a spectacular display of speed, skill and sportsmanship on Friday, 13 February 2026, as students from classes I to V participated in the much awaited Intra school Skating Championship. The arena radiated enthusiasm, with the rhythmic whirring of wheels blending seamlessly with the thunderous cheers of teachers and students who gathered to encourage the young skaters.

The event commenced with a motivating address by Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, who emphasised that while medals are earned through dedication and skill, true victory lies in demonstrating discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship. The young athletes were reminded that participation builds confidence, resilience and character, qualities that extend far beyond the rink.

The championship was formally inaugurated by Ms Tina Kapoor, PTA Head, and Ms Rashida Mendiratta, class V PTA Representative. The competition unfolded in a series of well organised races across different class categories. Every participant showcased grit and focus, whether striving for a podium finish or pushing personal limits.

The championship concluded on a note of pride and inspiration. The winners were felicitated with medals and certificates, applauding not only their speed and technique but also their discipline, courage and unwavering effort. More than a sporting contest, the championship proved to be a celebration of youthful energy, resilience and the transformative power of sport.
